Photo shoot for Asha Swillens

Asha Swillens created the collection OARREMMEM WÁLD (2016) during her studies at the Royal Academy of Fine Art Antwerp. This collection was inspired by different cultures from all over the world, and by childhood memories of her Dutch grandmother. The warmth and playfulness of these memories are mirrored in the setting of typical Dutch landscape features as grass and vast open sky’s.

The photographs were used in her collection book and for marketing purposes of exhibitions that followed after the presentation at the Royal Academy of Fine Art Antwerp, for example the exhibition ‘Eigentijds vervlochten met MIJ’ in Museum IJselstein.
